Better shallow leveling than deep digging!
Roads and Roundabouts like all other structures need solid and frost resistant sub grade or foundation. The traditional way for road construction requires to place the material quantity of fill material must be dredged out, the excavated material to be diposed at a disposal site, which is costly.
Thus, the exposed material of the underground must be pitched with layers of lime, gravel and crushed rock.
The last step is to layer of Asphalt coated gravel and asphaltic concrete. Such operations and working methods are associated with tremendous engagement of personnel, machines and time consuming.
In addition, surface damages might accur due to water penetration, illustrated through desiccation cracks. These damages might also cost a lot of time and money for reparation, further more the logistics changes e.g.
Deviation closings of parts of the routes etc...
These are working steps which, not only involve high machine- and labour costs, but also take up a great deal of time, in turn increasing costs. Not forgetting surface damage caused by damp penetration which appears in the form of dry cracks. Such damage necessitates large-scale repair work, which also costs money, not to mention the measures required to block off stretches of road and enforce traffic diversions.

What is Alphasoil®-06 ?
Alphasoil®-06 in water solved compound, works as ion exchanger,performed out of Polymers of Amines.
The effect of Alphasoil®-06 in the soil is derived by two diffrent Ion exchange mechanisms:

When using Alphasoil®-06 properly and in concordance with the manual, so that the foundation achieved a better compaction leading to higher density and strength, than usually possible, which is a positive impact caused though persistent change of the water-holding capacity of the particles of the soil (so- called colloids).
Indicating a full interruption of the capillary elevation. This fact enables the soil to higher compaction of the atoms, thereafter develops an effective preventration of moisture and following: Dissociation, ion exchange and neutralization. Swelling, thus it works against the formation of desiccation crack. Rain and frost will no more change the result, further, no elutriation is possible, the material is detained in the soil.p>
No Swelling or shrinkage of clay soil
Alphasoil®-06 is suitable for all cohesive clay and loam soils, fine constituent of at least 15%. This is the content of the majority of soils. All other types must undergo a lab test pior to any further treatment, to determine the compatibility and if a stabilizing effect with Alphasoil®-06 is possible. In fact Pure sand and gravel soil and also bog soil are inappropriate and have to be prepared properly before treatment with Alphasoil®-06. Because of its special properties, Alphasoil®-06 is suitable for soils with high water content. It offers an excellent drainage, and dully helps to stabilize the foundation.
Thus, Alphasoil®-06 treatment will keep the foundation permanently dry no more frost damage or desiccation crack due to the permanent block of swelling and shrinking of the treared soil.
This press-cores were produced under a pressure of one tonne by loamy soil material from northern Germany to sample purposes with Alphasoil-06.
